What is energy storage

Energy storage refers to the process of converting energy from the time it is produced or collected in one period of time to the time it is used in another period of time. Energy storage technology can help balance the difference between energy supply and demand, improve energy efficiency, reduce energy waste, and promote the application of renewable energy.
Common energy storage technologies include battery energy storage, compressed air energy storage, pumped storage, thermal energy storage and so on. Compressed air energy storage generates electricity by compressing air into storage and then releasing the compressed air when needed. Pumped storage uses the gravitational potential energy of water, pumping it to a high place for storage during low peak hours, and then generating electricity by releasing the gravitational potential energy of water during peak hours. Thermal energy storage is the process of storing heat energy and then converting it into other forms of energy when needed.

How many hours of energy can be used with 3600W storage:
3600W energy storage refers to an energy storage device capable of providing 3600W of power, its capacity and battery life depend on its voltage and current. In general, the capacity of the energy storage device is expressed in ampere-hours (Ah) or milliampere-hours (mAh), and the power is expressed in watts (W) or kilowatts (kW). The relationship between the two is: power = voltage x current, capacity = current x time
For example, if the voltage of an energy storage device is 12V, then its current is 3600W/12V=300A, if its capacity is 180Ah, then its battery life is 180Ah/300A=0.6h, that is, 36 minutes. If its capacity is 360Ah, then its battery life is 360Ah/300A=1.2h, which is 72 minutes
If the voltage of an energy storage device is 24V, then its current is 3600W/24V=150A, if its capacity is 180Ah, then its battery life is 180Ah/150A=1.2h, that is 72 minutes. If its capacity is 360Ah, then its battery life is 360Ah/150A=2.4h, which is 144 minutes
Therefore, to calculate how many hours of energy storage can be used for 3600W, you need to know the voltage and capacity of the energy storage device, and then divide the capacity by the current to get the battery life. Different voltage and capacity will affect the length of the battery life, in general, the higher the voltage, the larger the capacity, the longer the battery life
